Being the last competition of the year, saw one of our youngest members compete in the first round. Sophie was up first on the floor, and finished her routine for 4th place. Over to vault where Sophie competed a strong squat on for 2nd place. The combination of her scores gave her the overall 3rd place.

The 2nd round was for 2005 births, which included Margareta and Tatum.  Both girls started on vault, finishing in 5th and 6th place respectively. Tatum performed a brilliant routine, with some harder skills than previously competed finishing in 6th, giving her the overall 7th place, just 0.1 outside the rosettes.  Margareta performed a beautiful floor routine which gave her 4ht place, totalling her score to 13.30 finishing in the 5th rosette position.

Also in the 2nd round, competing for the first time was Gracie. In a strong field of 18 gymnasts, Gracie controlled her nerves for a 9th place finish.

The boys competed in the 3rd round of the day, which included Daniel and Sebastian in the 2007 category. Daniel performed a tidy squat on for 5th place, with Seb performing a stronger layout squat on for 4th place.  Seb’s floor routine started well, with a little wobble towards the end gave him 5th place on floor. Daniel wowed the crowd with a well-executed floor routine for 3rd place.  This great performance from both the boys finished Seb in 5th place and Daniel in 4th, both bringing a rosette home.

Round 4 saw some of our older gymnasts compete, several for the first time. With a little wobble to start, Lucy put that behind her ready to compete in the 2004 category against 12 gymnasts. With a different style of vault than Lucy is used to, she performed a great squat on for 6th. On to floor, Lucy showed great poise throughout her routine, for another 6th place.

Also in this round Maddy and Gemma competing for the first time against a strong field of gymnasts. Both girls performed lovely floor routines, just 0.05 between the pair for 4th and 5th place.  Over to vault, where several of their competitor’s competed harder vaults, but both took it in their stride and competed some well executed squat-ons. Maddy finished in 8th, and Gemma in 9th.

Emelia and Lisa competed in the 2003 age group. The girls started on vault with a squat through for Lisa, which gave her the 7th place. Emelia performed a squat on, tuck jump off vault for 9th place. The floor gave Emelia her time to shine and show off her well executed floor routine for 3rd place. Lisa had a slight wobble in one of her skills, both had an excellent competition to finish the year, leaving Lisa in 10th, and Emelia in 7th.
